The Grand Pier is open daily from 10am. Closing times vary throughout the year, please call ahead before travelling. Final admission is 15 minutes before the Pier closes. The Grand Pier is closed on Christmas Day.
Safety Information
Some of our rides and attractions carry height, weight and age restrictions. This is to ensure the safety of all our visitors and unfortunately cannot be negotiated. Please check the safety information at each ride before you purchase your admission credit.
- The Grand Pier is a family attraction. Antisocial behaviour may lead to ejection from the attraction without refund
- Children under 8 must be accompanied on the following rides - Crazy Circus, Crystal Maze, Freefall, House of Mirrors and Lazer Maze
- Children under 12 must be accompanied by someone aged 12 or over on Dodgems
Wristband Terms & Conditions - Applies to Unlimited and Kiddies wristbands
- Wristbands are available on weekends and North Somerset school holiday dates only
- All wristbands purchased online are valid on date selected at point of purchase only
- Online wristbands can only be purchased until one day in advance of your visit. If you wish to purchase a wristband for today this can only be purchased on the Grand Pier and are valid on the day of purchase only
- Please note height, age and/or weight restrictions may apply on certain rides
- Once purchased the wristbands cannot be cancelled. They are non-refundable and non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash
- Wristband refunds will not be provided if any attraction is temporarily out of order, under inspection, maintenance or subject to an annual test
- All persons purchasing wristband must be present as wristbands are attached by a member of the sales team
- Grand Pier reserves the absolute right to refuse the sale of wristbands
- This offer is not valid in conjunction with any other offer

Additional Terms & Conditions applicable to Kiddies wristbands
- Maximum height 148cm
- During busy periods we may limit the duration of play time in Adventure Cove Soft Play to 30 minutes, with no re-entry within 60 minutes
- This wristband is valid for 6 attractions only: Adventure Cove Soft Play, Crazy Circus, Crystal Maze, Helter Skelter, House of Mirrors and Laser Maze. All other rides & attractions are excluded
- This offer is not valid in conjunction with any other offer. Discount vouchers cannot be applied to Kiddies Wristbands
- Children under 8 must be accompanied on the following rides – Crazy Circus, Crystal Maze, House of Mirrors and Laser Maze
- Children under 12 must be accompanied by someone aged 12 or over on Dodgems
Event Tickets Terms & Conditions
- All ticket prices include local sales tax
- Event times are subject to change - please check for start times and potential age restrictions
- Sales are final
- No cancellations or refunds
- Ticket quantities and splits available may be limited by the seller
- Please note that ticket purchases are subject to a booking fee and delivery fee (if applicable). This booking fee includes service charges, administration charges, credit card fee and any postage costs. The booking fee is strictly non-refundable
- The venue reserves the right to refuse admission to or remove you from the venue in reasonable circumstances – such as the refusal of security checks or if venue staff consider that your behaviour may adversely affect other people’s enjoyment of the event – and without a refund
- The venue reserves the right to require latecomers to wait until a suitable break in the performance before being admitted
- The venue reserves the right to provide alternative tickets at the event should the staging or the event so require eg due to unavoidable setting changes
- The venue reserves the right to confiscate prohibited items – such as bottles, cans food and drink not purchased at the event, camera or items that may potentially be used as a weapon – in accordance with its policies. If in any doubt please check with the venue before attending
- If you experience any problems with your seating or enjoyment prior to or during the event please inform venue staff immediately as issues cannot always be resolved after the event. Please note loud music can damage hearing
- The unauthorised use of cameras, video or sound recording equipment is prohibited at the event and such items may be confiscated
- By attending the event you consent to being filmed/recorded as part of the audience for security and broadcast without payment
- All tickets are sold on a ‘no refund’ basis. For any cancelled event, The Grand Pier will issue new tickets for the rescheduled event
- We are not liable for lost or stolen tickets or wristbands. Duplicates cannot be issued under any circumstances
Membership Terms & Conditions
- Your membership card can be withdrawn at any time
- The £25 family membership is for a maximum of four people. Any additional memberships must be purchased separately
- Not valid in conjunction with any other offer
- Ticketed events and private events excluded
- Grand Pier reserves the absolute right to refuse entry
- Membership cards are non transferable
- Free Admission is not permitted without presentation of your membership card
- The Grand Pier will use and share your information in accordance with its Privacy Policy
- This card entitles you to 10% off all food and retail (excludes prize shop and the purchase of annual passes)
Essential Companions Card Terms & Conditions
The Essential Companion Card is issued by The Grand Pier Ltd and remains the property of the Grand Pier which has the rightto retain it where they believe it is being misused or used outside these terms and conditions.
- When you apply for an Essential Companions Card you are deemed to have fully accepted the terms and conditions set out in this document.
- Eligibility to apply for the Essential Companions Card is set out below; receipt of any other disability or age-relatedbenefits, pass or permit which is not specified in the eligibility criteria will not be accepted when applying for anEssential Companions Card.
The person applying for an Essential Companions Card should be in receipt of:
● Disability Living Allowance (DLA) ● Attendance Allowance (AA) ● Personal Independence Payment (PIP) ● Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP)● Blind Persons Registration
So, for example, Blue Badge schemes or the Employment and Support Allowance scheme will not be accepted as proof of eligibility. An application for an Essential Companions Card can only be considered for a person who is 8 years of age or older.
- You must be 16 or over to apply for your own card. If an applicant is under the age of 16, a parent or guardian must complete the application on their behalf.
- The Essential Companions Card will not be valid unless it shows an accurate and recent photograph of the Cardholder, along with all other information present on the Card on its issue. The Essential Companions Card is non-transferable and only theCardholder is entitled to use it. The Grand Pier reserves the right to ask for some additional form of identification from theCardholder and to check the validity of any Essential Companions Card when it is presented.
Where it is suspected that an Essential Companions Card is being used inappropriately, fraudulently or in breach of these terms and conditions, the Grand Pier reserves the right to retain the Essential Companions Card pending further investigation.
- The Essential Companions Card allows the Cardholder to obtain ONE complimentary entry to the Grand Pier for a person toprovide any assistance required as a result of the Cardholder’s disability during their visit provided that a full price entry ticketis purchased by the Cardholder. In providing a free ticket for another person to assist them during their visit, the Grand Pier is offering one way of meeting its duty to make “reasonable adjustments” for the Cardholder under the disability aspects of the Equality Act 2010.
- A complimentary ticket is provided on the assumption that the person accompanying the Cardholder is able to provide appropriate assistance. Illustrative, but not exhaustive, examples of such assistance might include having the ability to assist the Cardholder in:
● Moving around the attraction including finding and taking a seat; ● Evacuating the attraction in the event of an emergency; ● Accompanying and/or assisting the cardholder in using the washrooms; or● Purchasing food and refreshments.
While for this reason the presumption will be that the person accompanying the Cardholder will be aged 16 years or over. TheGrand Pier reserves the right to refuse entry for an Essential Companion where it deems it appropriate.
- One Cardholder cannot benefit from the complimentary ticket provided to another Cardholder. In all cases, one full price entrymust be bought for each complimentary ticket allowed. The Grand Pier reserve the right to make other arrangements for two or more Cardholders attending the cinema together.
- There is no limit to the number of times you can use the Essential Companions Card while it is valid, provided that the Cardholder observes the terms and conditions set out in this document.
- Use of this Essential Companions Card does not give Cardholders any additional rights of entry compared to those enjoyed by non-Cardholders. Use of the Essential Companions Card will be constrained in terms of programming and cinema capacity for a Cardholder as they are for any paying customer.
11. The Essential Companions Card cannot be used in conjunction with any other scheme operated by the Grand Pier and the presumption is that the Cardholder will purchase the appropriate full price entry ticket.
12. The Essential Companions Card is valid for a period of one year from the date of issue. The validity date must be clearly legible at all times on the Essential Companions Card, as should all other information present on the day of issue. The Grand Pier reserves the right to not accept, or to retain any Essential Companions Card where any details are no longer legible.
13. On expiry of the Essential Companions Card, or where an Essential Companions Card has been lost, or where it is no longer legible, a full new application must be submitted.
Facebook Competition
- This competition runs from Wednesday until Wednesday weekly
- The competition runs from 5pm on Wednesday. A winner will be announced at 10am the following Wednesday
- In order to enter, participants must follow the instructions within the Facebook post
- By entering, participants give permission for their entry photograph to be used on the Grand Pier’s social media channels and website. These include but are not limited to: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube.
- Only one entry per person per week will be accepted
- Prize draws and competitions are only open to UK residents aged 16 years or over
- One winner will be selected at random
- The decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into
- The winner will be announced on each via Facebook messenger. The winner will also be announced within the comments of the competition post
- If we cannot contact the winner within 48 hours from the closing date, we reserve the right to re-draw a winner and thereafter until a winner on these terms is found
- By entering this competition the winner gives permission for their name and/or photograph to be used/mentioned on the Grand Pier’s Facebook page
- Prizes are non-refundable and non-exchangeable
- By entering, participants are agreeing to visit the retail shop on the Grand Pier to claim their prize
- Details on how to collect prizes will be arranged directly with each winner
